The lionesses were roaring
loudly in this week in Rio Olympics 2016. Power full women hockey team Latin
Lioness of Argentina practice at Rio venue where they hope to go better one
that at London 2012. Their women hockey team is known as lioness, trained from
Monday 16th May 2016 Wednesday in the Olympics Hockey Center in Deodoro
Olympic Park as part of their quest for the 1st Olympic Gold medal.
The Captain of women hockey
team of Argentina Carla Rebecchi claimed they will surly win gold medal. They
will proud of their technical skills, team work and dedication. When we are at
pitch we give everything that we have got. Argentina is the well known hokey
world leagues but they have never won any Olympic title. They had knocked out in
2008 and 2004 at the semifinal stage and in 2012 they had defeated from the
Duch in final match. In 2008 Sydney Olympic Argentina had lost their final from
host country Australia. Before the start of Olympic tournament lionesses have
another date with destiny. They will try to get the honor of make hat -trick at
the elite hockey champions in London in June. If they win they will become the
country having the greatest number of titles.
After training in Rio about
chance to practice at the Olympic pitches Noel Barrionuevo said “It is very
good and fast one of the best in the world. We are very happy to have the
chance to be here to try it out” In their first match they will took revenge
against the USA who unexpectedly beat them in the final of the 2015 in Pan
American Games in Toronto. According to
official ranking of the International Hockey Federation Argentina is at No 2 in the world. They will try to
improve their ranking position in this Olympics games.
